Chi Pu attends gala with Baifern Pimchanok, Bosco Wong

Singer Chi Pu wore a "lotus fairy" gown, joining many Asian artists at a cultural exchange gala organized by the social media platform Weibo on 1/8.

Chi Pu was the only Vietnamese celebrity to attend the Weibo Gala 2026 - Weibo Cultural Communication Night event. When she appeared on the red carpet, organizers introduced her as a versatile artist from Vietnam with professional stage performance skills.

The singer chose a vibrant pink design by fashion designer Do Long. The designer created a fitted silhouette with a sculpted corset structure, mimicking lotus petals that embrace and support the body. The open-back detail and the train attached to the sleeves added emphasis. The gown was crafted from organza silk to create a flowing appearance as she moved. Chi Pu styled her hair in a high bun and opted for a sweet makeup look.

Chi Pu gained a significant following in China after winning the competition show "Dap gio 2023". Over the past three years, she has frequently attended events and performed on large stages in the country. She also released her debut Chinese music video, "Finding You", which received positive feedback from audiences.

The event, hosted by the Chinese social media platform Weibo, aims to foster cultural exchange and promote cooperation in music and film across Asia. Following the gala in Malaysia, organizers will hold another event in Thailand on 8/8.
