Singer Quang Dung shared his thoughts on the upcoming music night, stating, "musician Trinh Cong Son once wrote, 'to live in life, one needs a kind heart.' With that spirit, I want to bring inspiring melodies to the program." The event will take place on the evening of 16/9 at the Covid-19 Victims Memorial Park in Ho Chi Minh City.

The music night, organized to support children orphaned by Covid-19, will feature a lineup of prominent singers alongside Quang Dung, including Dam Vinh Hung, Duc Tuan, Nguyen Phi Hung, Vo Ha Tram, Quang Ha, and Ngoc Linh. The program will present 7 solo and choral performances, featuring well-known songs such as: "Me yeu con" by Nguyen Van Ty, "Song nhu nhung doa hoa" by Dinh Bao, and "Hay cho con mot mai nha" by Gin Tuan Kiet. These musical segments will be interspersed with real-life reports. The event expects to welcome approximately 1,000 guests, including frontline forces—police and medical personnel—and relatives of the orphaned children.
Thanh Nien newspaper, in collaboration with the Vietnam Television Southern Region Center, organized this music night. It commemorates 5 years since the launch of the "Continuing Life with Our Children" charity project.
According to the organizers, the program has provided financial aid and gifts to over 2,200 orphaned children in Ho Chi Minh City and several southern provinces and cities. It has also offered long-term sponsorship until age 18 for 550 children, with a total funding exceeding VND 60.8 billion. Additionally, the project has awarded VND 2.1 billion in scholarships to students.
