Stars celebrate Vietnam's ASEAN Cup 2026 victory

Vietnam's stunning 4-2 victory over Thailand in the ASEAN Cup 2026 final sparked widespread celebrations across the nation on the evening of 26/8. Celebrities joined millions of ecstatic fans, taking to the streets and stadiums to revel in the triumph. American singer Kyo York and former Miss Ngoc Han were seen joining the celebratory crowds, while singer Hoang Bach cheered passionately among thousands of supporters at My Dinh Stadium.

According to Hoang Bach, the match was tenser than he anticipated, with the opponent dominating the first half. Consequently, the pent-up emotions of the fans truly erupted in the final minutes.

It was Nguyen Van Chung's (left) first time watching a live football match at the stadium. "I will forever remember this moment, being one with fellow football lovers on the field," the musician said.

Miss Ngoc Han was overwhelmed with emotion when the referee blew the final whistle. "The Vietnamese players were resilient and did not disappoint football enthusiasts," she said.

On the evening of 26/8, model Chu Thanh Huyen, wife of midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai, and their son lifted the ASEAN Cup 2026, celebrating her husband's and the team's victory. Earlier, she appeared in the My Dinh Stadium stands with braided hair, expressing excitement for the match and hope for a home team win.
