The event offers domestic clients a direct opportunity to experience the art of bespoke tailoring from Florence, central Italy, through Stefano Ricci's team of artisans.
The program is scheduled to take place at Capella Hanoi on 16-17/5 and Park Hyatt Saigon on 18/5, exclusively by private appointment. This event is one of two trunk shows (private experience events) the brand organizes globally each year, targeting clients seeking personalized bespoke experiences.
Leading the activities is Pierpaolo Di Fonzo, a tailor with over 40 years of experience. He personally handles measurements, provides consultations, and oversees the finishing of each design, from suits to custom leather products. Guests have the opportunity to access premium materials such as ultra-fine cashmere, Giza 45 cotton, or hand-woven Florentine silk.

The Stefano Ricci brand was founded in 1972 in Florence by Stefano Ricci. It began as a tie workshop, adhering to the principle of entirely Italian production, from silk weaving and dyeing to hand finishing. After over 50 years, the company remains family-owned, with successive generations involved in its operations.

From its initial products, the fashion house expanded into bespoke tailoring, leather goods, fragrances, and luxury furniture, with a network of over 80 boutiques globally. In 2010, the brand acquired Antico Setificio Fiorentino, one of Italy's oldest weaving mills, established in 1786. To this day, many 18th-century wooden looms are still operated to produce silk exclusively for the brand's designs.
According to a brand representative, Stefano Ricci pursues a philosophy of discreet luxury, focusing on craftsmanship and privacy. Its clientele ranges from heads of state and diplomats to global entrepreneurs who prioritize quality and personalized experiences. Organizing a trunk show in Vietnam is part of its expansion strategy in emerging markets, amidst increasing demand for personalized luxury products. The brand representative noted that domestic clients are increasingly attentive to the origin, production process, and artisanal value behind each product.
