Kanteera Techaphattanakul surpassed 22 contestants to be crowned Miss World Thailand 2026 on the evening of 10/5. She earned the right to compete in the 73rd Miss World pageant, scheduled to take place in Vietnam in September.

On stage, she was overcome with emotion upon receiving the Ocean Empress of Andaman crown from reigning Miss World Opal Suchata, also from Thailand.

Her full name is Nampheueng Kanteera Techaphattanakul, and she is of Shan ethnicity from Chiang Rai.
