Her health scare prompted a greater focus on well-being; she is currently resting and exercising to lose weight. Tuyet Le occasionally performs at events out of enjoyment, not financial necessity. "I love performing, and my children are grown and independent, so I don't need to worry about anything; I just work to earn money for flowers", the actress stated.
Tuyet Le has two children, Xu Weidong and Xu Yingkun, from her relationship with actor Xu Shaoqiang. They separated in 1988, and Tuyet Le became a single mother, raising their young children.
The actress revealed she provides financial support for her ex-husband's two children from a different relationship. In 2024, Xu Shaoqiang and his wife, Meng Yuxuan, passed away, leaving behind two children, now 20 and 14 years old. Tuyet Le stated, "Having known them, I cannot just sit by and watch these two children without parents". The actress expressed satisfaction with her current peaceful life and has no intention of seeking a partner. She no longer harbors resentment towards anyone and has accepted her past. She denied being haunted by previous emotional hurts, explaining her decision not to remarry by saying, "love is too complex, troublesome".
Actor Xu Shaoqiang was Tuyet Le's first love. She idolized him after watching him portray a martial arts hero in the film "The Reincarnated" (1979). During a film industry party in Thailand, Xu Shaoqiang unexpectedly kissed Tuyet Le's cheek, captivating her.
At the time, Tuyet Le was unaware he was married; Xu Shaoqiang later divorced to live with her, and they had two children. After their separation, when their children were young, Tuyet Le shouldered the burden of raising her family, overcoming significant emotional and financial hardships. She once resented Xu Shaoqiang but has long since moved past any grievances with the actor.
Born in Hong Kong, Tuyet Le is the younger sister of actress Michelle Yim. She entered the film industry as a teenager, leaving her mark with the role of Li Mochou in "The Return of the Condor Heroes" (1995), portraying a once gentle wanderer turned ruthless due to betrayal. She also played Kang Min in "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" (1997) and Zhao Ya in "A Step into the Past". In recent years, Tuyet Le has primarily filmed television shows.
