On his personal page on 3/3, Tran Truyen Da posted a series of photos celebrating his birthday, writing: "For my 60th birthday, I realize that time is the most precious asset. Every sunrise is a gift, not a given. I am grateful to still be alive on this Earth. The wisest thing now is quite simple: every day, return to nature, sunlight, and live in harmony with values that are sustainable over time. I wish the world peace."
According to International Business TimesUK, the new photo collection immediately went viral across platforms and social media, with Instagram alone receiving over 2 million likes. Many viewers commented that he looks no different from a young man. Fans remarked: "Are we talking about human age or an elf’s?", "I am only 37 and look 60, standing next to Truyen Da, he might call me uncle."
In September last year, Vu Phi wore a Louis Vuitton outfit (left) to an event with Ly Minh Thuan, one of Singapore's most prominent entertainers. The images were widely published by Asian media with praise. According to The Straits Times, it is interesting that Ly Minh Thuan is 5 years younger than Truyen Da.
The Straits Times reported that nearly 10 years ago, when he started posting photos on social media, Tran Truyen Da gained attention for his stylish fashion sense and bright appearance, earning him the moniker "the man who never ages." From hundreds of thousands of followers, his Instagram now attracts over 1.9 million.
Born in Singapore, he entered the modeling world at 16, gradually becoming a familiar face on runways, appearing in many renowned magazines and fashion campaigns throughout the 1980s-1990s, and even had a period as a singer.
In a conversation with SCMP last year, he stated that his youthful appearance does not stem from cosmetic surgery or products, but from good gene and a disciplined lifestyle.
After leaving the runway, Tran Truyen Da transitioned to become a fashion photographer, collaborating with many international stars such as Janet Jackson, Rita Ora, Shu Qi, and Angelababy. Additionally, Truyen Da founded Ave Management, an international model management company.

In "Cuoc doi, khong quyen luan nao cung thang" (Life, not every argument wins), his debut book published last year, Truyen Da discusses his philosophy of life, exercise secrets, and body care.
He consistently maintains compound workouts with weights. Squats, lunges, bench presses, and pull-ups engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously. Studies show these time-efficient exercises burn more calories, improve and build muscle coordination, and strengthen core muscles while increasing muscle mass. Each week, he swims ba to 5 sessions. Additionally, he incorporates jump rope, running, or brisk walking.
"The repetitive up-and-down motion helps tone internal organs, slows age-related sagging, boosts metabolism, and burns excess fat around organs. Over time, this habit leads to a healthier, more robust body," Truyen Da said.

He suggests that everyone gets enough sun exposure daily for the body to synthesize vitamin D, but notes that too much sunbathing can accelerate the aging process.
According to Truyen Da, you will be younger and healthier when nurturing relationships with loved ones. Research shows that social connection not only makes us feel connected and cared for, but is also the strongest protective factor against depression.
He also emphasizes maintaining a positive outlook and mindset, which play a key role in shaping one's path. "Nurturing optimism and embracing challenges can reduce the effects of aging, while also enhancing the overall quality of life," Truyen Da wrote in his book.
In his free time, Truyen Da often travels and photographs natural landscapes. In an interview, when asked if he considered himself a "biohacker" (someone who hacks biological age, trying to turn back the clock), he replied "no." "Despite dedicating myself to health care and a healthy lifestyle, I am simply a normal person, and I also feel myself aging every day," Truyen Da told SCMP.
