Cao Minh Tien unveiled a collection inspired by Dong Ho folk paintings. Familiar images, such as groups of mice and dancing maidens, are digitally printed on a bright color palette, capturing the cheerful spirit of this traditional art form.
He also launched "Our Ao Dai", a photo book chronicling his ten years in the profession, highlighting the evolution of modern ao dai silhouettes. The book documents the ao dai's development process, from initial sketches, pattern making, and tailoring to the final intricate details.
"With the message that the ao dai is for all generations and ages, the exhibition aims to affirm this attire as a symbol connecting Vietnamese people in the past, present, and future," said Cao Minh Tien. The organizers hope to foster an open cultural space where people, especially the youth, can engage more closely with art, fashion, and traditional values.

Miss Ngoc Han presented a collection developed from her master's thesis, inspired by patterns and motifs carved on the Doctor's Steles at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam. "I explore historical values, the spirit of learning, and traditional aesthetic beauty, transforming them into contemporary design language," she said.
Che Quyet Tien showcased unique mini designs displayed on miniature, doll-like mannequins. Each handcrafted piece reflects the culture of Hau Dong (spirit mediumship) rituals, with some previously chosen by singer Hoa Minzy for a music product. Additionally, a section of the exhibition features avant-garde ao dai by students from the Faculty of Textile & Fashion, focusing on deconstructionism and dense patterns.
The opening day also featured several artists and guests, including: actors Tu Oanh and Thanh Huong; singers Doan Thuy Trang, Nguyen Thu Hang, and Tuan Cry; rapper Double 2Ti; and MC Phi Linh.
Cao Minh Tien, 42, holds a master's degree in fashion and teaches at the Faculty of Design, Hanoi University of Industrial Economics and Technology. His collections have been showcased at Vietnam Fashion Week, Dep Fashion Runway, and Vietnam International Fashion Week.
