Vietnamese beauty queens and runner-ups reunite

Miss Thanh Thuy, Miss Ha Truc Linh, and runner-ups Phuong Nga and Ngoc Hang showcased their beauty at the Miss World Vietnam 2026 kick-off press conference on the afternoon of 5/5.

Ha Truc Linh, 22, from Phu Yen, standing 1,72 m tall, wore a sheer gown by designer Nguyen Minh Tuan.

A year after her coronation, she shared that community activities enriched her life experiences. Currently a student at the University of Finance and Marketing in TP HCM, she aims to pursue a master's degree and buy her own home.

Ha Truc Linh appeared alongside runner-up Van Nhi from Miss Vietnam 2024. After winning her title, Van Nhi continued her studies at Phenikaa Private University in Ha Noi and participated in activities with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Runner-up Van Nhi wore a stylized ao dai by Dung Nguyen.

Miss Vietnam 2022 Thanh Thuy serves on this year's competition judging panel. She is a Vietnamese beauty queen who achieved international recognition, winning the Miss International 2024 crown.

Phuong Nga, the first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2018, graduated with honors in finance from National Economics University and completed a second degree at Swinburne Viet Nam. She is currently pursuing a master's degree and is married to actor Binh An.

Ngoc Hang, runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2022, works as a model, MC, and singer. She previously released a music video under the stage name Hera Ngoc Hang.

Ngoc Thao, the second runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2020, reached the top 20 at Miss Grand International 2020 and is currently a model.

Nguyen Hoang My Van, a top 10 finalist from Miss Vietnam 2024, hosted the press conference.

Ho Ngoc Phuong Linh, a top 5 finalist from Miss Vietnam 2024, was a fan favorite, nicknamed "doll" by many viewers.

Pham Thuy Duong, another popular contestant from the 2024 competition, also secured a spot in the top 5.

The organizers of Miss Vietnam 2026 will accept applications until 12/6. The reality television program will air in July, with the national finals scheduled for August.

Miss Vietnam, a beauty pageant initiated by Tien Phong newspaper, first took place in 1988 under the name Miss Tien Phong Newspaper Festival. Many winners have achieved success in various fields and are well-known to the public, including: Ha Kieu Anh (1992), Mai Phuong Thuy (2006), Dang Thi Ngoc Han (2010), Dang Thu Thao (2012), Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen (2014), Do My Linh (2016), Tran Tieu Vy (2018), Do Thi Ha (2020), and Thanh Thuy (2022).
