Xe Xe - child rapper garners millions of views

Nine-year-old rapper Xe Xe, also known as Em Be Chat, performs at major events and has music videos with tens of millions of views on YouTube.

Born in 2017, Xe Xe's real name is Nguyen Trung Dung. He is the nephew of Double2T (left), the winner of Rap Viet season 3. He began his artistic journey in 2023, frequently appearing alongside his uncle at various entertainment events.

Xe Xe recently collaborated with singer Tung Duong on the song "Co Bac trong tim", a fresh rendition of composer Pham Tuyen's "Nhu co Bac trong ngay dai thang". The music video garnered over one million views within 10 days of its release. The child rapper also performed the track at the "Am vang To quoc" concert, which drew 40,000 spectators to My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi.

Xe Xe has released several popular music videos, including "Em Be Chat" with 25 million views, "Em be Viet Nam" with 21 million views, and "Thanh Giong" with 2,3 million views. His team guides Xe Xe to create inspiring songs about patriotism and love for his homeland, featuring simple, pure lyrics suitable for school-aged children.

Xe Xe's style embodies street fashion, characterized by loose-fitting clothes and accessories such as sunglasses, berets, and bandanas.

According to Xe Xe's representative, he developed a passion for singing and dancing at an early age, prompting his parents to invest in talent classes. While pursuing his artistic career, he maintains his academic commitments at a private school in Hanoi.

The young artist performed at the Vietnam's Outstanding Young Faces Awards ceremony in 3/2025. The child rapper once stated, "I want to become a professional child artist because, to me, the stage is a playground. I feel happiest and most confident only when I am on stage".
