According to statistics from specialized units, daily contraceptive pills remain a common, effective, and accessible family planning method. However, incorrect dosage, missed pills, or inadequate counseling based on age and health conditions can reduce effectiveness and cause unwanted side effects.
At the meetings, leading experts in obstetrics and gynecology shared knowledge, provided updates, and discussed common counseling challenges with pharmacists. These included Associate Professor Doctor Huynh Nguyen Khanh Trang (Head of Obstetrics, Hung Vuong Hospital), Doctor Le Quang Thanh, Doctor Phan Chi Thanh, Doctor Lam Duc Tam, Master Doctor Nguyen Thi Thanh Loan, Doctor Tran Bao Chau, and Doctor Tran Quoc Huy.
At the event, Associate Professor Doctor Huynh Nguyen Khanh Trang, Head of Obstetrics at Hung Vuong Hospital, shared, "The daily contraceptive pill was a revolution for women, empowering them to take control of their lives and reproductive health".

As intermediaries between manufacturers and users, pharmacists are a critical link in ensuring safe and appropriate medication use. Therefore, according to the organizers, professional development programs like this will help standardize counseling skills and improve community healthcare.
