Actress Zhang Jun Ning's 'reverse aging' secrets

Regular exercise, smart eating, sufficient sleep, and a suitable skincare routine help Zhang Jun Ning become a model of 'reverse aging' at age 43.

When discussing "timeless beauty" icons in the Chinese entertainment industry, Zhang Jun Ning is undoubtedly a name that cannot be overlooked. Born in 1982 in Taiwan (China), Zhang Jun Ning is not only beautiful but also possesses acting talent, capable of breathing life into her roles.

In Vietnam, Zhang Jun Ning is widely known through popular films such as "Vo Mi Nuong truyen ky", "Thoi gian tuoi dep nhat", "Huyen cua On Noan", and "Nhu Y truyen". Beyond acting, Zhang Jun Ning also participates in Chinese variety television shows and represents many prominent brands.

Private and with few scandals, the actress consistently improves herself daily, steadfastly maintaining a positive image among fans.

At age 43, Zhang Jun Ning boasts firm, radiant skin and maintains a slender physique, keeping her appearance balanced. From her exercise habits and dietary choices to adjusting her daily schedule, Zhang Jun Ning emphasizes that nurturing "from the inside out" is the core key to sustainably maintaining optimal well-being.

Exercise

When discussing beauty care, Zhang Jun Ning frankly states, "Exercise is truly important." Developing a passion for running at age 25, she maintains a habit of "city-exploring runs" whenever she visits new places. In the past, her personal best was running 10 km a day. Currently, despite adjusting her frequency to about 4 km per run, she consistently maintains this routine.

For the actress, exercise is not merely about staying in shape; it is also an effective method to regulate her physical and mental state. Regular running helps boost metabolism and promote blood circulation, making her overall complexion more radiant and stable.

She also reveals that after exercising, she always incorporates stretching and relaxation exercises using a foam roller. Specifically for her calves, she uses a yoga roller to "press and roll horizontally", ensuring maximum muscle relaxation, preventing stiffness, and maintaining slender contours for her legs.

Light, nutritious, low-fat eating

Regarding her diet, Zhang Jun Ning reveals that she normally tries to minimize oil and salt. Previously, she also shared that she eats breakfast almost every day. Her breakfast always ensures sufficient protein and carbohydrates to help activate metabolism for a new day.

The actress summarizes her eating principles as follows:

Low oil, low salt, and actively avoiding MSG.

Energy distribution ratio for three meals: "Breakfast is the largest meal, dinner the smallest."

Adjusting the eating order: Drink soup first, then eat protein, followed by green vegetables and carbohydrates.

This scientific eating method not only reduces the burden on internal organs but also helps maintain stable energy levels and a balanced physique.

Rest and sufficient sleep

With increasing age and accumulated work experience, Zhang Jun Ning increasingly values rest. She reveals that since last year, she set a personal goal to get 8 hours of sleep daily.

Previously, no matter how tired she felt, she would push through to finish reading scripts. Now, however, she has learned to listen and stop immediately when her body sends warning signals. The actress humorously shares, "When you reach a certain limit, you will naturally know it's time to rest." This shift in mindset has helped her overall state become more stable and energetic.

She adds that by understanding the body's operating mechanisms, such as digestion and metabolism, we become more conscious of treating ourselves well. Consequently, one will willingly go to bed early and proactively adjust their lifestyle in a healthy way.

Daily skincare

In her skincare routine, Zhang Jun Ning habitually applies deep hydrating masks before starting work, then incorporates a Gua sha tool for facial massage. This method helps her skin become firmer, supporting smooth and natural makeup application.

Additionally, she places particular importance on health care through the meridian and acupoint system. During an interview, she meticulously shared the acupoints she regularly presses, such as: Feng Chi, Bai Hui, and He Gu acupoints. Even before bed, she prepares a "dedicated beauty treasure bag" containing lip balm and massage tools, allowing her to fully relax and harmonize her body before falling asleep.

When her body shows signs of fatigue or discomfort, she also applies Gua sha massage along the meridians, such as the Lung Meridian of Hand Taiyin, to clear them, helping to relax the body and boost circulation.
