On 11/8, a representative from Cao Bang Provincial General Hospital confirmed that the patient, a zumba instructor, arrived in cardiac arrest. He collapsed while performing on stage and was given first aid before being transported to the hospital.
The medical team attempted to resuscitate him for 30 minutes, but their efforts were unsuccessful. The hospital representative stated that the patient had visited the hospital over a week prior and had been diagnosed with a heart condition requiring monitoring.
Cardiac arrest is the abrupt cessation of heart function, preventing blood circulation to the rest of the body. Without prompt intervention, it has a 90% mortality rate and can cause severe complications such as permanent brain damage.
Individuals experiencing symptoms like chest pain and shortness of breath should seek immediate medical attention. Regular cardiovascular screenings can aid in early detection and appropriate treatment, mitigating potential health risks and preventing life-threatening complications.
