Fiesta Tour brings reproductive health knowledge to university law students

Fiesta Tour fosters open dialogue, empowering university law students to access information and make informed personal choices.

The Fiesta Tour 2025 program, themed "Difficult Conversations Made Easy," continued its journey at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law on 28/11. The initiative aims to equip students with official knowledge regarding sexual and reproductive health.

During the program, university representatives highlighted the practical role of sexual and reproductive health education. They noted that such activities complement the specialized academic foundation of law, providing students an opportunity for open discussion on personal issues often approached with hesitation.

In the expert sharing session, medical professionals provided practical knowledge on contraceptive methods, clarified common misconceptions, and emphasized the importance of early reproductive health care. They also guided students on identifying risks within relationships. The content was presented visually and clearly, helping students grasp accurate information and apply it practically.

The interactive Q&A and practical sessions were highlights of the program. Many students proactively asked questions about choosing suitable safe methods for different life stages and recognizing abnormal signs of reproductive health.

Alongside these, a mini-game quickly testing sexual and reproductive health knowledge attracted active student participation. This "learn-while-playing" approach made sensitive topics more accessible and helped young people assess their understanding.

Following the program, Anh Khoa, a Civil Law student, stated that the discussion provided him with new, practical, and easy-to-understand knowledge, clarifying previously vague issues. Kim Ngan, a Commercial Law student, shared that the program helped her better understand how to use safe and proper contraceptive methods.

Nguyen Thi My Ngoc, Senior Product Manager at DKT Mekong and a representative of the organizing committee, explained that the program aims to equip students with accurate knowledge and self-protection skills for situations related to sexual and reproductive health. She views Fiesta Tour as a bridge for DKT Mekong to connect with young people, encouraging open dialogue on topics once considered difficult to discuss.

In the coming period, Fiesta Tour 2025 will continue its visits to other universities, expanding its knowledge-sharing network. This effort contributes to building a student community that understands and acts correctly in sexual and reproductive health care.

Fiesta Tour is a series of activities implemented by DKT Mekong in collaboration with Vietnam Health Magazine. Its goal is to improve access to reproductive health information and services in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. DKT Mekong currently manages several brands familiar to young people, such as Fiesta, OK, and newChoice, aiming to provide safe, effective, and suitable solutions for diverse communities.
