FPT's blood glucose monitoring platform adds three new features

Users can now continuously monitor their blood glucose levels even without an internet connection, and doctors can proactively generate patient reports directly within the FPT MediCare app.

FPT MediCare, a subsidiary of FPT Corporation, launched three new features for its 3P continuous blood glucose monitoring platform in July. One key improvement is the device's ability to automatically switch to "Lite Mode" when internet connectivity is lost.

"In this mode, the app continues to function normally, recording blood glucose levels every three minutes and displaying real-time trends, ensuring uninterrupted monitoring," a company representative stated.

The manufacturer emphasized the importance of this feature, as users are not always in areas with stable internet coverage. Maintaining continuous monitoring offline increases the device's reliability, empowering patients to manage their blood glucose levels effectively anytime, anywhere.

FPT has also added the ability to share and export blood glucose reports with caregivers and physicians through the FPT MediCare app.

"With the user's permission, doctors can access information by scanning the patient's QR code, monitor overall or detailed metrics, and generate comprehensive reports to gain a complete picture of the patient's condition," explained the platform representative.

This two-way access system ensures data security while allowing medical professionals to proactively monitor patient status without waiting for in-person appointments. This facilitates faster and more timely evaluation of treatment effectiveness and adjustments to treatment plans. Family members can also stay informed and provide effective care, even from a distance.

The 3P continuous blood glucose monitoring system also offers 24/7 online customer support. "Developed and produced by a Vietnamese team, the 3P meter is constantly undergoing technological upgrades to ensure users always receive timely and professional support, giving them peace of mind in managing their health daily," the representative added.

For technical troubleshooting, app usage guidance, or feedback, users can contact support directly through the FPT MediCare app. FPT's 247 Portal system also records real-time data, enabling early detection of operational anomalies. Support staff will proactively connect with users to provide timely assistance.

The device is currently available at Long Chau pharmacy chain and FPT's official e-commerce sites. The company hopes these three new improvements will enhance diabetes care in Vietnam and expand the application of technology in family healthcare.
