"This agreement with Transino and SCgate demonstrates this commitment and is a practical step in our efforts to ensure product origin and quality transparency, aligning with the Vietnamese government's efforts to combat counterfeit goods," Quyen said.

Transino, a renowned skincare brand under Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare, a leading Japanese pharmaceutical company, offers products like anti-melasma cosmetics, sunscreen, and facial cleansers, all manufactured and inspected in Japan.

In Vietnam, SCgate distributes Transino products. Misawa Miho, Transino Vietnam's managing director, stated that the brand highly values SCgate and Long Chau's distribution capabilities in bringing Transino products to the Vietnamese market. "The effectiveness of this partnership is evident in Transino's leading sales position in Southeast Asia," Miho said.

Having reached the milestone of 2,222 pharmacies nationwide (as of July), Long Chau is currently Vietnam's largest pharmaceutical retail chain. Beyond its scale, Long Chau maintains stringent standards in brand selection, origin verification, and product quality control.

SCgate serves as a strategic bridge for many Japanese health and beauty brands entering the Vietnamese market. From import, storage, and distribution to after-sales service, the company adheres to standards for traceability, quality control, and product information transparency.

Each product has a Vietnamese label, anti-counterfeit stamp compliant with Ministry of Public Security regulations, and a QR code for tracing the origin and import from Japan by SCgate.
