Losing 25 kg in six months: the secret to eating well and sleeping early

Fitness expert Zee Ali successfully shed 25 kg, going from 101 kg to 76 kg in 24 weeks, without extreme dieting or strenuous workouts. His success stemmed from adopting three simple, sustainable lifestyle habits.

Weight loss doesn't always require extreme diets or grueling workouts. Zee Ali, a health and fitness expert, recently shared his success story of shedding 25 kg in six months. In an Instagram post on 22/6, he unveiled the practical principles that led to a complete transformation of his physique and overall health.

Ali explained that allowing the body to feel hungry and not adequately full often triggers cravings, leading to fast food consumption and sabotaging weight loss efforts. Therefore, instead of restrictive eating, he focused on three important principles.

Ali emphasized that "sleep and water are the secret weapons." He stated, "Every night, I go to bed before 10:30 PM and drink 3 to 4 liters of water daily. Sufficient sleep boosts energy, and adequate hydration reduces cravings. It's simple."

Establishing and adhering to a consistent daily routine is also crucial for maintaining discipline. Ali noted that proactively planning sleep times, gym sessions, or walks helps control one's life and prevents disruption from unexpected tasks.

The final key principle revolves around a high-protein diet. Despite a significant reduction in overall food intake, Ali ensured he consumed 180 to 200 grams of protein daily. This protein intake helped maintain muscle mass, curb cravings, boost metabolism, and support faster belly fat burning.

By consistently following this simple routine daily, without resorting to extreme diets, Ali successfully reduced his weight from 101 kg to 76 kg in 24 weeks. At 46, he reports feeling healthier, fitter, and happier than ever.

However, health experts advise that while Ali's story highlights the effectiveness of discipline, sleep, hydration, and protein, individual nutritional requirements vary significantly. The optimal protein intake for each person depends on factors such as age, weight, activity level, and overall health. Therefore, individuals should consult doctors or nutritionists to create a diet plan best suited to their specific physique and personal goals.
