Phuong Dong General Hospital ranked among Vietnam's top 3 hospitals in 2025

Phuong Dong General Hospital has been recognized among the top 3 best hospitals in Vietnam thanks to its modern medical model, green treatment environment, and comprehensive services.

The award was announced at the The Best of Vietnam 2025 awards ceremony on 5/7, an annual event organized by the Vietnam Association of Scientists and Entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Intellectual Property and Creativity Magazine. The event honored organizations with outstanding achievements in enhancing service quality, building trust, and shaping the future of Vietnam's healthcare sector.

Phuong Dong General Hospital's recognition stems from its modern and distinctive medical model, based on three pillars: a people-centric approach, a technology-driven mindset, and a focus on a clean, green treatment environment. This achievement reflects the hospital's persistent efforts toward innovation, aiming to provide patients with both professional medical care and a humane, holistic treatment experience.

Phuong Dong's three strategic pillars

Since its inception, Phuong Dong General Hospital has envisioned developing a comprehensive care ecosystem where patients receive standard medical treatment alongside mental and emotional healing. Every element, from the experienced medical team and modern equipment and technology to the green, clean treatment environment, has been invested in to support patients' recovery journeys.

Phuong Dong has assembled a team of leading specialists and doctors with extensive experience, emphasizing medical ethics and patient care. Here, patients are not merely treated but are also supported and cared for.

Beyond medical expertise, the application of modern medical technology is also a key strength, enabling faster diagnoses and improved healthcare efficiency.

The hospital has invested in modern equipment and technology to enhance the quality of care, from screening and diagnosis to treatment. Advanced equipment, such as 3.0T and 1.5T MRI, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and 3D-4K ICG endoscopy, are in use. Notably, Phuong Dong is among the few hospitals in northern Vietnam with a photon-counting CT scanner, a cutting-edge technology capable of early cancer and other dangerous disease detection, surpassing traditional CT scanners.

Another distinguishing feature is the hospital's green, clean treatment environment, promoting relaxation. The infrastructure is designed in harmony with nature, incorporating amenities such as a therapeutic garden, an Onsen & Wellness retreat, and high-end inpatient rooms, all contributing to a less stressful treatment experience.

"By integrating technology, expertise, and a healing environment, healthcare at Phuong Dong is not just treatment; it's a journey of nurturing body and mind in a tranquil space within the city," a hospital representative said.

Shaping the future with a long-term strategy

According to a Phuong Dong representative, the hospital has defined a long-term development roadmap with a broad vision. It will further strengthen international collaborations, adopt advanced medical technologies, and enhance professional expertise through expert exchanges and technology transfers.

Concurrently, the hospital will focus on developing specialized centers to improve care effectiveness. In 2025, two centers, the Oncology, Radiation Therapy, and Nuclear Medicine Center and the International Children's Center, are expected to open, increasing the total capacity to nearly 1,000 beds and better meeting the community's specialized healthcare needs.

Operationally, the hospital is accelerating comprehensive digital transformation, building an intelligent data management, storage, and connection system to personalize the medical experience. Looking ahead, Phuong Dong aims to be a pioneer in combining medical treatment with wellness, where physical and mental health are cared for in tandem, raising Vietnam's medical services to international standards.
