Answer:
Immediately after LASIK surgery, you may experience some grittiness, stinging, burning, blurred vision, and light sensitivity. These are normal symptoms that typically subside within a few hours or a day. After 24-48 hours, your vision will continue to improve significantly, becoming clearer and sharper.
You can walk around and engage in light activities; there's no need to stay in bed. However, it's recommended to rest and relax for about three days to allow your eyes time to heal. You can use your phone, computer, and other electronic devices, but prioritize resting your eyes as much as possible.

During the first two weeks after LASIK, you must wear protective goggles continuously, even while sleeping. Avoid rubbing your eyes, applying makeup around the eye area, and getting water or sweat in your eyes. Adhere to the prescribed eye drop regimen, following your doctor's instructions. Before applying eye drops, wash your hands thoroughly and avoid touching your eyes or the tip of the bottle to your eyes. If you experience sudden blurring, sharp pain, or excessive tearing for more than 12 hours, seek immediate medical attention for evaluation and treatment.
After one month, you can generally resume normal activities, including swimming, going to the beach, and wearing eye makeup. You should adjust the distance when working, reading, or using your phone to ensure optimal eye comfort.
