On the morning of 15/8, authorities in Hai Van Ward arrested two Da Nang residents, one from Hoa Xuan Ward and the other from An Khe Ward, for drug trafficking.

The drugs, weighing 295.5 kg, were found packed in sacks and filling a car. A search of the Hoa Xuan Ward resident's home uncovered an AK-47, a homemade gun, and 7 bullets.

The operation was led by the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command, in collaboration with the Central Region Drug and Crime Task Force (Drug and Crime Prevention Department) and the Da Nang City Border Guard Command.
The Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard and the Da Nang City Border Guard are continuing their investigation.
