Phuong was criminally detained by Dong Nai Police on 14/11 for investigation into the theft of property.

The incident came to light on the afternoon of 12/11 when a 27-year-old woman in Binh Phuoc ward returned home to find a necklace, diamond ring, and bracelet, valued at over 350 million VND, missing from her bedroom. She immediately reported the theft to the police.

Following more than two hours of investigation, Binh Phuoc ward police summoned Phuong, who had recently cleaned the victim's house. Initially, she was evasive and denied involvement. However, when presented with evidence, Phuong admitted to the theft, confessing she took the jewelry while cleaning the owner's bedroom. She sold a portion of the stolen items and hid the remaining pieces in a bush in Tan Thien residential area.

Police recovered the stolen items and returned them to the victim.
