On 17/4, Nguyen Thanh Do, 29, Nguyen Duy Huynh, 42, Le Tan Phat, 25, and five others were arrested by Ho Chi Minh City Police for causing public disorder.

The incident began when Le Tan Phat and Nguyen Dinh Tuan, 17, shared their backpacking trip experiences on a Facebook group. Some members argued that the content was unrealistic. Subsequently, Nguyen Thanh Do posted on his personal page, mocking the two.

According to the investigation, both sides exchanged messages multiple times, arguing and issuing challenges. They eventually agreed to meet at a coffee shop on Tan Thang street, Tan Son Nhi ward, to "talk things over."

At the meeting point, Do's group and the other party continued to shout, then engaged in a physical altercation, causing a public disturbance in the area. Tan Son Nhi Ward Police promptly arrived to intervene, bringing those involved to the station.

The investigating agency is expanding the case.
