Marwan Khadir was sentenced by Woolwich Court on 7/4. According to allegations, he carried out the attack on a takeaway shop employee in south London on Christmas Eve 2025, after receiving an incorrect quantity and type of garlic sauce for his order.
Khadir threatened to shoot the victim with a fake gun, repeatedly assaulting them during an attack that lasted over two minutes.
Surveillance camera footage released by the Metropolitan Police shows Khadir ordering three chicken thighs, fries, and a drink from the shop at 9 p.m. on 24/12/2025. In the video, he can be heard requesting garlic sauce and mayonnaise.
Khadir then returned to his apartment, where the video shows him rummaging through his food bag, checking the quantity of sauces.
He returned to the shop and yelled at the employee, "I ordered three garlic sauces and three mayonnaise sauces!"
Khadir shouted, "Open the door!", jumped onto the counter, grabbed the victim's wrist, and pointed the gun at their head, saying, "I'm going to kill you now, are you crazy?"
Police stated the victim reported the assault the next day.
