According to police, from 2020 to 2024, the five defendants, all medical staff and doctors working at local healthcare facilities, recorded false information in patient records. They fabricated details and dishonestly reported inpatient treatment times, patient conditions, and treatment regimens for many patients.

This group of medical staff committed these acts for personal gain and other individual motives. The falsification of these legal documents was not solely for insurance fraud but also showed signs of concealing professional errors.

Investigators determined that patient records are the most crucial legal documents reflecting a patient's treatment process. The doctors' acts of altering and fabricating records not only seriously violated the law but also eroded professional ethics.
