The investigation revealed that three afternoons prior, the female shipper arrived at a hotel in Gia Dinh Ward to deliver a food order placed via an app. The recipient requested the package be left at the reception desk. However, as no staff were on duty, the shipper asked the customer to come out and collect the order directly.
When Huy emerged, an argument ensued regarding the delivery method. He then unexpectedly struck the female shipper repeatedly in the head, causing her to fall to the ground with her motorbike landing on her leg.
As bystanders helped the victim to her feet, Huy again pushed her, causing her to fall a second time. The assault ceased only when multiple people intervened.
