The Ha Tinh Provincial Traffic Police Department announced on 30/6 that a resident of Thanh Sen ward was fined for illegal parking. The violation involved parking parallel to another already parked vehicle, contravening Decree 168/2024.
The incident occurred at 16h on 23/6, in Alley 9, Xuan Dieu street, Thanh Sen ward (formerly part of Ha Tinh City). The alley, which measures over 4 meters wide, became obstructed when the driver parked his Vios car in front of his house, parallel to a Hyundai that was already parked there.

Authorities stated that this parking significantly obstructed traffic in the narrow alley, directly affecting residents' daily commute. The action not only caused local congestion but also posed potential safety risks within the residential area.
Following complaints from residents, the Thanh Sen Ward Police cooperated with the Ha Tinh Provincial Traffic Police Department to summon the driver for questioning and record the violation.
Traffic police clarified that even if the Vios driver parked in front of his own house, the act still constituted a violation because a Hyundai was already parked parallel to that spot. This emphasizes that the rule applies regardless of property ownership when obstructing public access.
