According to the investigation, the incident occurred on 26/4. Loc was driving his Jeep from Nguyen Thi Dinh street towards his home in Thanh Nhat ward when he saw a ride-hailing motorbike driver parked on the sidewalk near his house. Loc continuously honked and loudly demanded to know why the vehicle was parked there.

The 63-year-old driver did not respond and left on his motorbike. Loc then drove his car in pursuit, driving against traffic for a distance on 10/3 street.

When the driver stopped on the sidewalk in front of Go supermarket, Loc caught up and argued. He then threatened the driver, seized the motorbike keys, drove his car in a circle around the intersection in front of Go supermarket, and left the scene.
