Police in Di An ward are investigating an incident where a man assaulted a young man, knocking him unconscious in an alley following a traffic collision on 5/4.

According to the investigation, around 5 p.m. on 4/4, a man wearing a red helmet was riding a moto in a small alley in Di An ward, Binh Duong province, when he collided with a male student riding in the opposite direction. Both fell, but neither was injured.

However, the man aggressively approached and loudly provoked the student. Observing this, a young man in a white t-shirt nearby ran out to intervene.

After a brief exchange of words, the man lunged at the intervener, repeatedly hitting him, causing heavy bleeding and knocking him unconscious. The assailant then turned and continued to assault the student, injuring him, before leaving his vehicle at the scene and fleeing.

Residents took both victims to the emergency room. The incident was recorded by a camera and shared by residents on social media, sparking widespread outrage.
