A Boston court sentenced Alyssa Partsch, 33, to 20 years in prison for murder, authorities announced on 2/4.
Judge Ames delivered the sentence after Partsch reached an agreement with prosecutors, pleading guilty to one count of manslaughter. Prosecutors initially charged her with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal incident that occurred on Thursday, 20/7/2023.
According to police records, on the night of 20/7/2023, authorities received a report of a stabbing in downtown Boston. Upon arrival, emergency responders found the victim, Jazreanna A. Sheppard Gonzalez, 21, severely injured. The victim died shortly thereafter.

Prosecutors stated the violence erupted after a series of hostile online exchanges between the two, during which Alyssa allegedly threatened to kill her opponent and attempted to provoke a physical altercation.
Authorities confirmed the two individuals had never met in person prior to the incident.
That night, the victim was walking with a friend towards the Park Street MBTA subway station when Alyssa confronted her, armed with a knife. Surveillance cameras recorded the two fighting before Alyssa stabbed her multiple times in the face, head, and abdomen, according to the indictment.
Alyssa fled the scene via subway and was arrested several months later in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
Both the judge and prosecutors condemned the defendant's excessive violence, which stemmed from "meaningless" issues. However, public documents do not specify the subject of their online argument.
