On 22/4, Thong, 40, and Hai, 26, were detained by the Tay Ninh Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Department for investigation into murder.

Around 7 PM yesterday, a bus carrying factory workers stopped by the road near Phuoc Dong industrial park in Gia Loc ward. Tam, 37, a worker at the industrial park, was sitting on the roadside when Thong and Hai, who were nearby, suddenly attacked him with repeated punches and kicks.

Tam tried to escape by running onto the bus, but the two men pursued and continued to assault him. Moments later, some female workers on the bus used their helmets to help Tam fight off Thong and Hai.

During the altercation, one of the two men used a sharp object to stab Tam, who sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. After committing the crime, both fled. Later that night, realizing the victim had died, they surrendered to the police.

Thong and Hai stated that they had been on the same bus as Tam, traveling from Ben Cau commune to Phuoc Dong industrial park. Tam was playing music loudly on his phone, disturbing other passengers, which led to an argument after Thong and Hai asked him to turn it down.

After getting off the bus, the dispute continued, escalating into the fatal incident.
