On 12/1, the Internal Political Security Department of Da Nang City Police issued a decision to fine a 38-year-old man, residing in Go Noi commune, 7,5 million dong. The fine was for providing and sharing false information on social media, violating point a, clause one, Article 101 of Decree 15/2020/ND-CP.
According to authorities, the man used his personal Facebook account to post distorted and untrue comments under an article published on a Fanpage created by Le Trung Khoa. This Fanpage served as a platform for anti-state activities.
When invited for questioning by the Internal Political Security Department, in coordination with Go Noi Commune Police, the man admitted his actions. He stated that he posted the false comments due to immature thinking. He voluntarily removed the violating content and committed not to re-offend.
The offender published a correction and apology to the online community and complied with the fine decision.

On the same day, Dien Ban Bac Ward Police also fined a 34-year-old man, residing in Hoi An Tay ward, Da Nang City, 7,5 million dong. This was for posting false comments that insulted the reputation of the people's police force on social media.
On 31/12/2025, Le Trung Khoa, 55 years old, was tried in absentia by the Hanoi People's Court. He was sentenced to 17 years in prison for making, storing, disseminating, and propagandizing information and documents aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, under clause two, Article 117 of the Criminal Code.
The indictment stated that since 2016, Le Trung Khoa had used 12 information pages and channels to publish numerous articles and videos. These contained content that distorted and slandered the government, fabricated information causing public confusion, and defamed Party and State leaders, all aimed at anti-state activities.
