Prior to this incident, Ba Ngoi Ward Police launched a campaign to address cases of modified vehicles causing disorder in residential areas. These vehicles were characterized by loud exhausts, revving engines, gathering, swerving, and weaving. This initiative aimed to restore peace and safety for local residents.
Following their operation, the police posted images of violations on the unit's social media page to raise public awareness about legal policies. However, an account commented on the post, submitting a photo of an Exciter motorcycle showing signs of modification, accompanied by the challenging phrase: "Dare you catch me".
Ba Ngoi Ward Police identified the account owner. They also outlined preliminary violations related to the young man's modified vehicle and reminded citizens to respect the law, adding that a summons would be issued for questioning.
Police advise that modifying motorcycles is an illegal act. Families should closely manage their vehicles and children. When citizens discover any disruptive behavior, they should promptly report it to the ward police for handling.
