Around 3 PM on 21/5, Tien, 23, residing in Tan Khanh commune, rode a motorbike to a phone store in Thai Nguyen province, feigning interest in purchasing a device. He then suddenly pulled out a large knife and held it to the neck of the pregnant owner, who was 7 months pregnant.

He threatened the pregnant owner, then stole 20 iphones and cash, totaling approximately 500 million VND. After committing the crime, Tien fled by passenger bus towards Hanoi – Son La.
Upon receiving the report, in the early morning of 22/5, the Traffic Police Department and Van Ho Commune Police of Son La province apprehended Tien while he was on the passenger bus. Police seized a folding knife, a mobile phone, and 20 iphones in a sack from the suspect.

Currently, Tien and the seized evidence have been handed over to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police for further investigation and processing.
