Police raid 3 bars in Binh Duong and Vung Tau

On 8/7, Ho Chi Minh City police detained 186 patrons and staff suspected of possessing and using drugs at 3 bars.

Last weekend, hundreds of mobile police, criminal investigators, and other officers simultaneously raided F5 Club in Dong Hoa ward (formerly Di An town, Binh Duong province); Six T Club in An Phu ward (formerly Thuan An town, Binh Duong province); and TGT Disco Club in Vung Tau ward (formerly Vung Tau city, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).

Preliminary tests revealed that 186 patrons and staff members tested positive for drugs. Authorities seized over 100 grams of synthetic drugs and 57 nitrous oxide tanks.

After interviewing those involved, investigators determined that drug trafficking and organized drug use were taking place at all 3 bars.

The raids were part of a plan following a directive from the Ho Chi Minh City Police Director to inspect and eliminate drug dens, preventing an increase in criminal activity.
