At the meeting, reviewing important milestones, the general secretary asked that in this new development phase, the police force continue to affirm its role as a "steel shield" and "treasured sword" protecting the party, the regime, and the people. The police must always be proactive, sensitive, and creative to defeat all schemes and tricks of the enemy.
After outlining the lessons learned over 80 years, the general secretary affirmed that the party, state, and people "always place their full trust in the police force." He said this trust isn't inherent but built from the blood, sweat, tears, and intellect of many generations of officers and soldiers.
