At 83, Aiko maintains a stylish appearance with a fashionable short haircut and painted nails, making her appear much younger than her actual age.

Aiko has been married twice, has two children and five grandchildren. After her divorce, she lives with her son and spends her days gardening. Kofu is a graduating student interning at a design company.

The two met through Aiko's granddaughter, who is Kofu's classmate. Kofu admitted to falling in love with Aiko the first time he visited his friend's house. Aiko said she was also drawn to the energetic young man.

Initially hesitant due to their 60-year age difference, their relationship progressed after a trip to Disneyland in Chiba prefecture about a year ago. Aiko's granddaughter, who organized the trip, had a sudden engagement, leaving the two to go together.

Aiko admits to feeling lonely when her boyfriend is at work, but preparing meals for him energizes her. "He even brushes my teeth before bed", she shared.
