Acecook Vietnam: Three decades of community action

For the past 30 years, Acecook Vietnam has implemented numerous programs supporting individuals and communities, including scholarships, skills training, and healthcare, all aimed at sustainable values.

Over three decades in Vietnam, Acecook has become a leading brand in the fast-moving consumer goods and food industry. The company's impact extends beyond product reach to its community projects in education, healthcare, and support for the underprivileged. This development strategy is evident in long-term programs focused on environmental awareness, student mental health, and food safety communication.

An Acecook representative stated that to ensure each project's effectiveness, the company conducts thorough needs assessments, designs tailored programs, and measures local impact. One example is the Acecook Happy Scholarship, a long-term investment in education.

Since 2015, over 1,800 scholarships totaling more than 17 billion VND have been awarded to underprivileged students nationwide. The program emphasizes comprehensive skills development. Scholarship recipients participate in factory tours, soft skills workshops, and career guidance sessions with human resource managers, helping them shape their future.

While the Acecook Happy Scholarship focuses on fostering knowledge, the "Happy Noodle Package" project provides direct support to those in need. Launched in 2019, the program targets children aged 4 to under 16 in disadvantaged families, ethnic minority areas, and mountainous regions, contributing to the "National Action Program for Vietnamese Children." The project has delivered over 85,000 noodle cartons, supplementing the diets of nearly 61,000 children. It has also awarded nearly 2,550 scholarships and almost 2,200 sets of learning materials, and funded three clean water projects for nearly 4,700 children, with a total investment of over 15 billion VND.

Acecook also extends long-term support to other vulnerable groups. Notably, the "Casting Nets of Dreams" project, a collaboration with the Vietnam Children's Fund, provides 166 children of fishermen with 6 million VND annually. In 2025, the project continues with an additional 1.1 billion VND to support children in special circumstances.

As a food company, Acecook recognizes its responsibility in building a healthy and sustainable community. The company regularly conducts educational programs to promote scientific knowledge about instant noodles and guide consumers in building balanced diets.

Acecook also stands with the community during natural disasters and epidemics. The company collaborates with the Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention Department within the framework of the National Week for Disaster Prevention, organizing training courses for students and providing timely material and financial aid to affected areas.

Acecook aims to build a strong internal collective, ready to share with the community. This culture is reflected in the unity of its employees. For example, when Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) caused significant damage in 2024, Acecook Vietnam employees donated over 420 million VND through the "Towards the Beloved North" program of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.

Furthermore, Acecook's community programs are integrated into its operations, including employee volunteering training. The company also shares experience and technical guidance, empowering suppliers to enhance quality management for a sustainable supply chain.

At the Corporate Sustainability Awards 2025 (CSA 2025), Acecook Vietnam was honored as one of the "Top 50 Typical Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam" in the "Typical CSR Activities" category. The company also received the "Sustainable Enterprise 2025" award in the FDI sector from the CSA 2025 judges. Acecook Vietnam considers this recognition of its efforts in building a sustainable development strategy based on ESG criteria (environmental, social, and governance), closely aligned with its core 3H values (Happy Consumers, Happy Society, Happy Employees). In addition, Acecook Vietnam also received the "Asia Responsible Enterprise Award" (AREA) 2025 organized by Enterprise Asia to honor businesses pioneering sustainable business practices and social responsibility.

Entering a new phase with the strategy "Cook Happiness Through Innovation," Acecook continues its commitment to creating positive values. For Acecook, community development is not a choice, but an integral part of the company's sustainable development strategy, creating long-term and lasting value for society.
