Following its merger with Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa has become a culturally rich destination with a diverse range of accommodation and entertainment. Travel and Tour World (TTW), an American publication, has highlighted Nha Trang as a key driver of Vietnam's growing international tourism appeal.

The American magazine points out that Nha Trang possesses some of Southeast Asia's most beautiful islands and beaches. This positions the coastal city, and the province as a whole, for tourism recovery, catering to both adventurous travelers and those seeking luxury, especially after its administrative expansion.
"Khanh Hoa province is taking significant steps in revitalizing its tourism sector, introducing a series of new products to attract domestic and international tourists. With the merger of Ninh Thuan province, Khanh Hoa has inherited a treasure trove of natural and cultural heritage, becoming a rising star in cultural, ecological, and community tourism in Vietnam," TTW writes.
One of the notable advantages of the former Ninh Thuan province is its rich Cham cultural heritage, which is now integrated with Khanh Hoa's strengths in islands, beaches, services, and infrastructure. TTW suggests that tourists explore the ancient architectural works and centuries-old traditional craft villages.

Beyond cultural heritage, TTW emphasizes Khanh Hoa's strength in ecotourism, ranging from coastal relaxation and culinary and agricultural tours to mountain adventures. Tourists can unwind at Bai Dai, Vinh Hy, Binh Tien, Ninh Chu beaches or enjoy fresh seafood at markets and restaurants along the coast.
Agritourism is a newly popular form of travel. Plantations such as Cam Lam or the Phan Rang vineyards attract visitors with unique agricultural experiences rarely found in modern cities. Nui Chua National Park, a UNESCO-recognized biodiversity hotspot, is another attractive option, along with Mui Dinh sand dunes offering sand sliding and adventurous mountain climbing.
In addition to these existing potentials, TTW acknowledges the province's efforts in regional connectivity to develop multi-destination tourism. Routes such as Nha Trang - Ninh Hai - Da Lat and Nha Trang - Mui Dinh - Mui Ne allow tourists to explore the sea, highlands, and mountains in a single trip. However, TTW advises tourists to plan their itineraries carefully to ensure a positive experience.
