Axyl is the youngest of four children born to Jessica, 34, and Jade, 43. His three older siblings developed at a standard rate.
Jessica recounted that even in the womb, Axyl kicked so strongly that at one point, she had to use a wheelchair because she could not walk on her own.
Axyl's rapid growth meant most baby items quickly became too small. His family had to custom-order a bassinet the size of a mini crib. He could not fit into a foldable stroller and could not use children's high chairs at restaurants.

The family has yet to find a replacement for his car seat, which is also rapidly becoming too small. Moving Axyl is challenging; his maternal grandfather and mother cannot take him for walks alone. Every time they buckle him into the car seat or lift him in and out of the stroller, two people are needed.
In his first 8 months, his parents spent 5,000 USD on clothes and supplies for Axyl. Because he grew so quickly, many outfits were outgrown before their tags could even be removed. Although he cannot crawl yet, no baby shoes fit him due to his wide feet, and he currently wears clothes sized for a 5-year-old.
"People ask me how I manage to carry him. I just try my best", Jessica said.

Axyl's appearance attracts attention, leading strangers to frequently stop Jessica to ask about him whenever they are out. Mall staff also recognize her because she purchases new clothes every two weeks. While she does not notice significant changes daily when with her son, looking back at photos on her phone reveals that he appears to have grown several months in just three weeks.
On social media, many speculate that the boy has a metabolic disorder or is overfed. Pediatricians refute these rumors, as they monitor Axyl's health every 8 weeks and have confirmed he has no underlying medical conditions. Currently, Axyl drinks approximately 1,1 liters of formula and eats two jars of baby food daily.
"To our family, Axyl is not the 'giant baby' online; he is simply our son", Jessica stated. The family views sharing Axyl's growth journey as an opportunity for the public to better understand children with different developmental rates.
