Carmen Andrade and Lupita are conjoined twins living in Connecticut. In 2024, Carmen met Daniel McCormack on a dating app, and they married in October.
In a video shared on social media, Carmen showed off her wedding ring, announcing the happy news. Lupita emphasized, "Only my sister is married". "I'm asexual. I don't intend to marry," she said.
Addressing questions about their personal lives, Lupita explained that she often uses headphones and her phone when Carmen and her husband want private or intimate moments.
"I don't mind. I just want my sister to be happy," she said.
Carmen acknowledged her understanding of any discomfort her sister might experience.

McCormack declined to share details about the couple's intimate life, stating it's private.
Carmen described her husband as different from other men she connected with on dating apps. "While others were curious about the sexual aspect, he never asked," she said.
The twins cannot have children due to endometriosis. "I take hormone-suppressing medication, so I don't have periods either," Carmen explained.
The sisters are joined at the torso, sharing a pelvis and reproductive system. Each has two arms but they share one leg. With 256,000 followers on social media, they frequently share their experiences to raise awareness about the challenges faced by people with disabilities.
"We receive many questions about our bodies and private lives. But people need to remember that we are not just conjoined twins, we are also individuals," Carmen said.
