Energetic moments from young runners at Kun Marathon Hanoi

2,000 young runners at Kun Marathon Hanoi unleashed their energy, running nearly 1 kilometer, overcoming numerous obstacles, and creating many vivid moments on their journey of physical activity and growth.

From 6:30 AM, 2,000 children aged 6-10 gathered on Tran Nhan Tong walking street. Many woke up as early as 4:00 AM to prepare, conquering sleepiness—the first challenge of race day.

The organizers welcomed the children, lining them up by age group for warm-ups and interaction before the start.

Anh Tuc, 8 years old, participated in Kun Marathon for three consecutive years, making her confident and familiar with the activities. Ngoc Thanh, Anh Tuc’s parent, shared that her daughter loves the event and wants to run and play with friends.

To boost energy, organizers played vibrant music. Below, the children sang and danced in unison. Young runners also interacted with NSND Xuan Bac and several popular Youtubers. This dynamic warm-up is a regular feature at every Kun Marathon event. In Hanoi, with temperatures at 14 degrees Celsius, this ritual was even more crucial to help the children warm up.

At 7:15 AM, the children moved to the race track. The MC reminded them to line up orderly, avoid pushing, and stay behind the starting line. When the signal sounded, they surged forward with excitement.

This year, the race featured a course of approximately 1 kilometer on Tran Nhan Tong walking street. The track was 100% closed, incorporating inflatable obstacles to enhance the fun.

A group of 7-year-old runners unleashed their energy after clearing an obstacle. Outside the track, many parents stood along the fences, cheering loudly and using their phones to capture the memorable moments.

Timid, slower children received support and encouragement from volunteers, helping them build confidence.

A 6-year-old sprinted to win their group. In each heat, the organizers awarded prizes to the three first-place young runners.

A runner celebrated with a KOL after completing the challenge.

After crossing the finish line, the children received medals and continued to interact with the special guests.

Kun Marathon Hanoi 2025 marked the fifth time this free children's race came to the capital. The event creates a space for children to play and exercise after school, fostering moments of family and friend connection, and becoming beautiful memories on their journey of growing up.
