Exploring Play Spaces Designed by Tre Em Viet

Tre Em Viet develops play areas that integrate creativity, education, and safety, contributing to improved public spaces for children.

Tre Em Viet typically designs indoor play areas ranging from 100 to 1,000 square meters, with ceiling heights from 2.8 to 7 meters. The company's expertise lies in adapting to complex spaces, including irregular layouts, low ceilings, or renovations within existing cafes, restaurants, and shopping malls.

According to a company representative, layouts with numerous angled corners present a challenge for designs requiring a coherent structure. Instead of concealing these irregularities, the design team utilizes them to create "experience clusters," such as climbing structures, interconnected ball pits, and inflatable slides. This approach maximizes space and provides a unique experience for children.

Career-oriented clusters with role-playing games like doctor and engineer, combined with soft play areas, are strategically placed in angled corners. These areas are connected by zigzag pathways, creating a continuous and surprising journey of discovery. While not conventionally square, these spaces offer a unique dynamism, making the play area memorable for both parents and children.

Beyond creating experiences for children, integrating play areas with cafes or restaurants is increasingly popular, especially in residential areas and satellite towns. Following the principle of "separate but connected," Tre Em Viet designs safety barriers between the two areas while maintaining an open space for parents to observe their children from their tables. Sound is controlled using sound-absorbing materials and appropriate sound direction. Decorative elements, lighting, and furniture are coordinated to enhance aesthetics, support photo opportunities, and create a relaxing experience for adults.

The company representative notes that as society increasingly emphasizes mental health and children's holistic development, play spaces are no longer merely for entertainment but have become early childhood educational environments. Tre Em Viet, with over 10 years of experience designing and constructing children's play areas in Vietnam, contributes to this trend.

In addition to its core design and construction services, the company also acts as a strategic consultant for play area investments, ranging from shopping malls, cafes, and restaurants to preschools and family businesses. Each project is designed to stimulate physical activity and mental development in a safe environment.

Last year, the company achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, the international standard for quality management systems. This milestone allows Tre Em Viet to rigorously control the entire process, from materials to construction, completion, and maintenance. Specific products, such as plastic balls, are tested at QUATEST 3 (Quality Assurance and Testing Center 3), ensuring they are non-toxic and safe for children.

According to Ho Thanh Manh, head of market development at Tre Em Viet, the ISO certification not only demonstrates the company's production capabilities but also opens doors for international collaboration. "Every project we undertake is committed to safety, efficient operation, aesthetics, and delivering practical value for both investors and the community," he said.

Tre Em Viet supports clients from conceptualization and age-appropriate model selection to creative space design, turnkey construction, operational training, and long-term maintenance. The company adapts designs to the specific conditions of each site, optimizing space utilization while ensuring attractiveness and freedom of movement and exploration for children.

Beyond the domestic market, Tre Em Viet is expanding into Southeast Asian countries, bringing Vietnamese quality and design thinking to more children. The company's mission is not just to build play areas but to create lasting social value, contributing to a holistically developed future generation.
