The "Journey with Green Summer 2025" campaign, organized by the Green Future Fund in collaboration with 33 universities, institutes, and the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, ran from July to the end of August. The projects, spread across 14 localities, focused on improving quality of life, environmental protection, and promoting sustainable development.
A highlight of the campaign was the "Green Light" project, which saw over 830 solar lights installed along 33.6 km of rural roads in 17 mountainous and coastal communes, including Bach Long Vi island district (Hai Phong). These lights improve nighttime safety for residents and promote the use of clean, environmentally friendly energy.

The campaign also drilled wells to provide clean water and built standard sanitation facilities in remote areas, such as the Pom Khuong kindergarten (Tam Chung commune, Thanh Hoa) and the Suoi Cai kindergarten (Quan Son commune, Lang Son).
Youth Union members also organized training and awareness-raising sessions on environmental protection, including waste sorting and recycling, for local residents and students of all levels, from kindergarten to high school. Nearly 400 sorting bins were donated to schools and residential areas to encourage proper waste disposal and environmental protection.
Ta Hong Son, member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union and Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said this was the first time the Ministry's Youth Union had collaborated with the Green Future Fund on activities related to sustainable development goals.
"The campaign not only improves living conditions but also motivates the spread of green models in the community, contributing to a sustainable Vietnam," Son said.

Commenting on the achievements of Green Summer, Dr. Le Thai Ha, Executive Director of the Green Future Fund, affirmed that these results clearly demonstrate the pioneering role of young people in the country's green transition.
"Sustainable development begins with simple, practical actions. These projects give people more motivation to earn a living, children can learn in a better environment, and communities become more connected. That is the sustainable value that the Green Future Fund and the Green Summer campaign aim for," Dr. Le Thai Ha emphasized.
The Green Summer campaign is one of the key activities of the Green Future Fund, founded by Vingroup, to contribute to the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050. The fund also implements community programs such as "Green Wednesday," "Action for a Blue Ocean," and contests like "Green Voice" and "Send Green Future 2050," attracting tens of thousands of students.
