Heineken 0.0 hosts alcohol-free parties for drivers in Ho Chi Minh City

The "0.0 Bar - Refreshing Party Series for All Drivers," hosted by Heineken 0.0, offered surprises from the parking lot to the dinner table, along with a series of interactive activities.

The event is taking place at Thiso Mall Sala on 23/8-24/8. Last weekend, the event attracted thousands of participants at Saigon Centre. Despite prolonged rain, young people patiently queued to experience "drinking and driving."

Recently, designated drivers have had limited beverage options at social gatherings, often choosing between water or soft drinks, feeling left out of the festivities. The "0.0 Bar" series offers a solution for those who want to enjoy a party atmosphere while remaining responsible behind the wheel. "Here, fully enjoying the party and driving confidently are entirely compatible," a representative shared.

The event's twist begins in an unexpected place: the parking lot. Attendees receive a special card, not just for parking, but for unlocking the party itself. Touching the card to the 0.0 Bar entrance grants access to the fun.

Le Gia Huy, a moto vlogger in Ho Chi Minh City, recalled, "I hadn't planned on attending, just passing by, but I was drawn into Heineken 0.0's surprise party." Duy Khanh was also among the first drivers invited to the "0.0 Bar" at the Satra parking lot on Le Loi street last weekend.

Inside, drivers entered a lively 0.0 Bar space, designed for relaxed conversations with friends over a cold Heineken 0.0. Just when guests settled in, another surprise unfolded: a dinner table descended from above, creating a new connection space. The atmosphere shifted with upbeat music and mocktails, fostering camaraderie among attendees.

At the "0.0 Bar," drivers enjoyed the party, met new people, and shared memorable moments. Despite initially being strangers, everyone raised their glasses, creating connections and sharing smiles.

Tran Minh Khoi, 26, from Ho Chi Minh City, shared, "I was incredibly impressed with the descending dinner table. Heineken 0.0's party series offers an option to drive confidently while still connecting with friends." Khoi expressed hope for more similar events in the future.

While the descending table was a visual highlight, the mocktails were the taste sensation. Bartender Jimmy Nguyen presented various Heineken 0.0-based creations, notably the Green Spark. Inspired by the popular matcha latte, Green Spark blends Heineken 0.0 with watermelon, green apple, matcha, cream cheese, and blue spirulina powder. Thanh Hoa, after tasting it, described, "The smooth, refreshing taste of Heineken 0.0 blends perfectly with matcha and fresh fruit, a light and enjoyable alternative to milk tea for everyday gatherings."

Beyond the Green Spark, the party featured other recipes combining the original malt flavor with fruity notes, resulting in "creative drinks that excite the taste buds while remaining smooth and refreshing, true to Heineken 0.0," as many participants noted.

Further surprises awaited under each coaster, each posing a fun challenge: taking a selfie with someone wearing the same color shirt or raising a glass with someone wearing a similar bracelet. These challenges encouraged interaction and connections among guests.

"There are no barriers, everyone is fully engaged. More than just a party, the '0.0 Bar' bridges connections, allowing drivers to rediscover true enjoyment without worry," Dang Nguyen, 27, shared, emphasizing the desire to both drive and connect confidently at social events.

According to a representative, Ho Chi Minh City is just the beginning. "The party series will soon arrive in Hanoi, so the capital's driving community can also experience the smooth, refreshing, 0.0% alcohol feeling - enjoying the party and driving with confidence."

With the 0.0 Bar series, Heineken 0.0 reaffirms that choosing to drive doesn't mean missing out on the fun. At this party, every driver can connect, fully enjoy themselves, and maintain confidence behind the wheel on the way home.
