The event takes place at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, the largest in Southeast Asia and among the top 10 globally. The large-scale exhibition features over 200 participating units, including government ministries, departments, 34 provinces and cities, and hundreds of businesses. The venue showcases numerous national brands and paints a comprehensive picture of the country's 80-year development journey.

The 900,000 m2 exhibition area is designed in the shape of the sacred turtle, Than Kim Quy. Visitors will feel as if they are traveling back in time to experience significant moments in the nation's history. The national flag and the communist party flag are prominently displayed, creating a sense of national pride.

The exhibition is divided into two main areas: indoor and outdoor.
The indoor exhibition area is divided into six themes, reflecting the country's development journey: Vietnam - Land - People; 95 Years Under the Party's Flag; Creation and Development; Economic Engine; National Start-up; and Prosperous Province, Strong Nation.

Tran Le Phuong, Chairman of the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center Joint Stock Company, stated that leaders from the central to local levels closely monitored every step to ensure the event's national significance.
"The '80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness' exhibition is a must-see historical and cultural event for National Day. The event, which runs until 2/9, is expected to be a focal point for millions," Phuong said.
