Nha Trang's international appeal was confirmed when it was the only Vietnamese representative in the top 15 summer destinations worldwide, according to the Mastercard Economics Institute (MEI). The clean environment, moderate climate, and reasonable cost of living make it a favorite choice for many tourists, especially international visitors.

Cam Ranh International Airport plays a crucial role as a gateway connecting Nha Trang to the world, contributing to local tourism growth. The large number of international visitors arriving by air demonstrates the airport's transit hub status.

Nha Trang is developing a synchronous infrastructure and service system, with convenient connections from the city center to Cam Ranh International Airport, along with modern healthcare, education, and shopping facilities.

Recently, Russian national airline Aeroflot announced the launch of a direct Irkutsk-Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa) route starting 5/9, with two flights per week. According to the airline's plan, the frequency on the Irkutsk-Cam Ranh route will be increased to three flights a week from 6/10 and possibly four flights per week from 29/10.

This is the airline's second route to Khanh Hoa, following the Moscow-Cam Ranh route opened in late March.
