The "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" exhibition, the largest of its kind to date, is organized under the direction of the Standing Committee of the Government in collaboration with various ministries and sectors. The event showcases 80 years of remarkable national development achievements in various fields: national defense and security, industry and technology, commerce, investment, education, and culture.
In addition to display areas from ministries, sectors, and 34 localities, the exhibition features over 200 leading businesses. These entities collectively paint a vibrant picture of Vietnam's economy over the past 80 years, along with its aspirations for the future.
After 37 years of operation, PNJ has evolved from a local enterprise into a national brand with international reach, particularly in the jewelry sector.
In 1988, when the jewelry industry had yet to form a proper market, PNJ launched its first gold and silver store. For nearly 4 decades, the company has pioneered in investing in production technology, actively expanding its market, and diversifying its product portfolio.
The decision to equitize in 2004 was a landmark turning point, transforming PNJ from a state-owned enterprise into a private company for more flexible operations.
2018 marked a significant milestone for the company with the appointment of Le Tri Thong as CEO, signifying a generational transition and strategic repositioning. From then on, the company gradually shifted its business model from a traditional manufacturer to the largest Lifestyle retail system in the country, expanding globally.
This new strategy has proven effective in various aspects, from business to management. Specifically, since 2019, PNJ has joined the "trillion-profit" business club. Last year, the company recorded revenue of 37,823 billion VND and a post-tax profit of 2,113 billion VND—a record in its operating history—while contributing over 2,100 billion VND to the state budget, leading the retail sector.

Beyond economic value creation, PNJ has also prioritized social activities for 37 years. The company comprehensively applies three pillars in its sustainable development strategy: environmental protection (Environment), social responsibility (Social), and advanced governance standards (Governance).
Specifically, the company has collaborated with local authorities at all levels to promote social security activities, contributing to improving welfare and promoting sustainable development. Projects such as Cinderella's Dream, Warm Hands, Zero-Dong Mini Supermarket, Raising Awareness of Autism in Vietnamese Children, and Happy Young Families have helped people improve their quality of life and pursue their dreams.
Over the years, PNJ has received numerous domestic and international awards, including the National Brand Award, Top 10 Sustainable Businesses (CSI) for 9 consecutive years, Most Favorite Non-Financial Listed Company with Large Capitalization in 2024, and has been featured in Fortune Southeast Asia 500, Forbes, and JWA.
