Khanh Hoa province's recent administrative restructuring has created numerous advantages for attracting domestic and international investors. This new landscape offers significant potential, paving the way for the province to achieve its goal of becoming a centrally-administered city by 2030, as outlined in Resolution 9 of the Politburo. Experts believe this target reflects the central government's confidence and the expectations of local officials, residents, and businesses.

To align with this new development direction, on 29/7, Khanh Hoa province leaders met with various agencies to discuss adjustments to the province's 2021-2030 master plan, with a vision to 2050. The Department of Finance highlighted conflicts between the current provincial plan and national and regional plans, as well as newer resolutions. The merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan has also shifted objectives and development orientations. These factors necessitate adjustments to ensure alignment with current realities and higher-level directives.

The Department of Finance proposed adjustments focusing on key tasks and breakthroughs for the planning period. These include development scenarios, spatial distribution of socio-economic development linked to infrastructure, land, and environment, ensuring consistency and efficiency. They also suggested adjustments to development plans for key sectors like agriculture, forestry, fisheries, industry, transportation, electricity, urban development, and resource exploitation. The goal is to responsibly harness potential, preserve cultural and historical values, and promote sustainable growth.
Alongside planning adjustments, the province is promoting administrative reform, focusing on streamlining, digitalization, and business-centric services. This creates a more transparent and efficient investment environment, attracting both domestic and international businesses. Areas with expansion potential, such as north Nha Trang, are attracting significant investor interest.

Under the new administrative and planning framework, the former Nha Trang city is reorganized into four wards: Nha Trang, north Nha Trang, south Nha Trang, and west Nha Trang. Investors see north Nha Trang as a strategic development area, bridging the existing urban center with northern growth regions like Vinh Hoa, Vinh Phuoc, and north Van Phong.
Its coastal gateway location along Tran Phu Street, considered the city's most scenic bayside route, provides advantages in landscape and connectivity.
North Nha Trang also boasts the Luong Son Pass, one of Vietnam's most beautiful coastal mountain passes, with its characteristic terrain nestled against mountains and facing the sea. This pass is renowned for its majestic mountain views and the poetic beauty of the blue ocean.
These advantages are transforming north Nha Trang from a local residential area into a hub for housing, services, and tourism, alleviating pressure on the increasingly congested city center.

Demand for green, high-quality living spaces with less infrastructure strain is rising, particularly among young people, professionals, and international residents. A recent VnExpress survey with over 46,000 participants found that 85% consider Nha Trang a desirable bayside city due to its mild climate, clean environment, and developed services. This further strengthens the appeal of developing areas like north Nha Trang ward.
Real estate businesses are shifting their focus to this area. Coastal residential and resort complexes are being planned and developed with a focus on integrated planning, convenient infrastructure connections, and long-term accommodation options.

Numerous projects in north Nha Trang ward are seeking investors, including: a high-rise apartment complex combined with a commercial service center (0.52 ha), Vinh Hoa private kindergarten, and Vinh Hoa commercial service center. A 44-hectare urban complex with international 5-6 star amenities has already been established. Diverse product types are being developed, including coral island mansions, luxury villas by the marina, apartments under the Melia Hotel International standard, and commercial boutique houses. The recently launched Villa Compound boasts a construction density of approximately 19% and 13,000 m2 of green space and water features, offering an open, nature-connected environment. The project also features cultural and artistic works: Do Theater, Trong Dong Clubhouse, and 8 symbols of traditional musical instruments.
Experts believe this signifies north Nha Trang's evolution beyond a satellite residential area. It is becoming a new development hub, shaping the city's future expansion.
