To attract consumers, Vinamilk actively enhances its quality standards, establishing new benchmarks for Vietnam's fresh milk industry. The company sets high requirements for transparent origin and controlled production processes, ensuring every drop of milk delivered to consumers meets the safest and most reliable standards. As a result, Vinamilk Green Farm A2 became the first A2 fresh milk in Asia to achieve US pure certification from Clean Label Project.
The certification is awarded by Clean Label Project (CLP), a US-based non-profit organization specializing in evaluating consumer products. Clean Label Project's testing criteria are even stricter than those of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This organization independently collects samples by purchasing products like a regular consumer and conducts anonymous, unannounced spot checks to ensure consistent quality aligns with published results.
Clean Label Project outlines over 400 criteria for products seeking pure certification. These include product quality assessments, ingredient declarations, and raw material hazard evaluations. Clean Label Project pays particular attention to heavy metal residues and analyzes the presence of substances like BPA, BPS, and Phthalates—compounds that pose potential risks to hormones and the immune system, especially in young children. Substances such as Acrylamide (a potential carcinogen) and Parabens (commonly used as preservatives) are also on the evaluation list.
Only after successfully passing these over 400 testing criteria did Vinamilk Green Farm A2 receive Clean Label Project certification.
Four strict control checkpoints from input
As a fresh milk product entirely produced in Vietnam by Vietnamese people, Vinamilk Green Farm A2 achieved US pure certification thanks to Vinamilk's meticulously developed quality control process. Strict control of input raw materials is a core factor that helped this fresh milk product pass the Clean Label Project's tests.
The first checkpoint involves directly importing pure A2/A2 gene dairy cows from leading global dairy hubs such as the US and Australia. At the second checkpoint, the imported herd undergoes further genetic screening, sampling, and testing in Australia to re-verify the accuracy of the A2/A2 gene source. The third and most crucial checkpoint ensures that each batch of fresh milk from the A2 herd undergoes rigorous quality inspection to confirm its β-casein composition contains only A2. The final checkpoint ensures all inspection results are transparently disclosed to consumers.

From pure standards to winning over discerning consumers
Vinamilk Green Farm A2 milk is directly milked at ecological farms. To ensure a fresh, natural flavor, Vinamilk applies dual vacuum technology. This advanced technology minimizes dissolved oxygen in the milk, instantly "locking in freshness," while eliminating undesirable off-flavors and preserving the maximum grassy and natural aroma of the milk.
Additionally, the complete packaging process is carried out within 12 hours to fully preserve the valuable nutrients in every drop of milk.
Beyond meeting international standards like Clean Label Project, Vinamilk Green Farm A2 has also won over Vietnamese mothers looking to introduce fresh milk to their children. Hoang Lan (Cau Ong Lanh ward, TP HCM) shared her satisfaction: "My child is quite picky with milk and food. Fortunately, Vinamilk's Green Farm A2 milk has a mild, fragrant taste, and my child loved it after the first try."
