Nemu Kusano met her husband through friends and always believed he was a "serious, shy" person. However, her life took an unexpected turn when she accidentally found condoms and aphrodisiacs in his bag.
Checking his phone, Kusano was stunned to find evidence that her husband had been unfaithful 520 times with various individuals, from escorts to adult film actors.
Her husband justified his extramarital relationships as a way to relieve work pressure, asserting that he "did not bring stress home". Kusano later took him for an examination, and doctors diagnosed him with a sex addiction dating back to his school days.

Kusano's situation became even more challenging as she single-handedly bore the burden of caring for their son, who suffers from a rare illness with fewer than 30 reported cases worldwide. For her child's sake, Kusano initially suppressed her anger, trying to communicate and attend therapy with her husband.
However, instead of dwelling in sorrow or planning revenge that could affect her child, Kusano decided to transform her marital tragedy into art. With the support of artist Piroyo Arai, she turned her life story into a humorous comic series, which will be published in early 2025.
"No matter what happens, I do not regret putting all my effort into raising my beloved child", Kusano shared.
Currently, Kusano is separated and raising her child alone. Her story has gained attention on Asian social media, inspiring many women with its message of courage and positive attitude in the face of adversity.
